Bingara: gem on the Gwydir

If Coolatai is the quiet northern verandah, Bingara is the southern living room. The Gwydir River wraps the amphitheatre town; fossickers still chase colour in the hills; and the restored Roxy Theatre puts Art Deco cinema and Greek café heritage on the main street.

Use Bingara for bakehouse mornings, riverside caravan nights, Living Classroom wandering and the serious history of Myall Creek. Then swing north through Warialda to Coolatai when you want creek camping and Wallaroo evenings.
