Upper Horton: New Year dust, dogs and Horton Falls

Upper Horton punches above its size every New Year when campdraft and rodeo fill the valley. The rest of the year it is Sports Club dinners, cheap camping and drives to Horton Falls or Rocky Creek’s ancient pools.

Access via Killarney Gap from Bingara/Narrabri country or Barraba approaches. Fuel and meals are limited — treat the Sports Club as your planning hinge.
